| Tuscany is one of the most beautiful areas in Italy. It extends from its most famous city, the heart of the Renaissance, Florence, to the coast at Pisa going south to the colorful city of Sienna. This region was the home of Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael. Florence has some of the finest museums in the world. Of course in Pisa, has the world famous Leaning Tower. Don’t miss the many small and historic villages like San Gimignano with its towers, or the Chianti area. Lucca to the northwest of Florence is another city that should be seen. Take your time and just drive around some of the prettiest land around filled with castles, palaces and villas. |
