Goblin Valley is a tiny (only a couple of square miles) state park located on the Colorado Plateau in Southern Utah. This park is in a unique geologic area called the San Rafael Swell. This park contains wild small rock formations that look very much like goblins as well as many other things, best left to your imagination. There are no marked trails, but it is very easy to get around. Kids will love this place. Nearby is Little Wild horse canyon an easy slot canyon to hike through. It is not likely that you will see more than a few other people at this little known park. Outside the entrance is camping. The closest city with lodging is Hanksville, about forty miles away.
