Freiberg is both a college town and the largest city in the Black forest region of Germany. Many say that this town has the best weather in Germany with its southern location in the country. They have a great old town built around a square. The beautifully designed merchant hall built in the 1520’s is one of the main attractions in the square. In the old town square is the Medieval Munster cathedral. There are also two of the original five city doors remaining today that at could be closed to protect the city.
